Let your light shine

God calls us His gems throughout the Scriptures, a precious and treasured people uniquely set apart for His purposes. As referenced in Malachi 3:17, "They will be mine," says the Lord Almighty, "in the day when I make up my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as in compassion a man spares his son who serves him." These words remind us of our irreplaceable worth in God's eyes and the special place we hold in His heart.

Each one of us, like a gem, has been meticulously crafted, polished, and placed in specific settings where our light can shine brightest. As we navigate through life's challenges and triumphs, we are continually being refined and perfected by His divine hand. Just as a jeweler carefully cuts and polishes a gem to reveal its brilliance, so does God work within us to bring forth our true beauty and purpose. This divine designation is a call to reflect His glory in all aspects of our lives.

It is a reminder that we are not ordinary but extraordinary, created to exhibit the splendor of His grace and truth. As His gems, we carry the light of His presence into the world, illuminating the path for others to find their way to Him.

In embracing our identity as God's gems, we are called to a higher standard of living, one that radiates His love and righteousness. Let us embrace this identity with humility and gratitude, knowing that we are cherished by our Creator, and let our lives be a testament to His unfathomable love and grace. With hearts set apart and empowered by His Spirit, we will see the bountiful fruits of His divine plan come to pass.

 Love and prayers.

Sheila
